Marriage Equality Update

We’re making great strides for Marriage Equality in 2005! Last year we had 11 representatives sign on to our bill. By the end of the day last Wednesday, there were 21 - nearly double!

We need to ensure that this positive momentum in support of Marriage Equality continues to build. We are holding three community meetings in different parts of the state to bring Rhode Islanders together. Bring your friends and family to meet other Marriage Equality supporters, hear about what’s going on, and get involved. (If you can’t make it to a meeting in your area, you’re welcome to attend any of them.)

We’ll be discussing:

  • our legislative strategy
  • Picture Equality, our traveling photo petition
  • the creation of our Speaker’s Bureau
  • volunteer opportunities
  • and simple ways that YOU can make Marriage Equality a reality in Rhode Island.

Save the date! Marriage Equality is coming to your neck of the woods.
